Section 10 Consultation
As part of the process of opening a Free School, the Department for Education requires a consultation under Section 10 of the Academies Act 2010.
A Section 10 consultation gives the local community and stakeholders the opportunity to comment on whether the school should enter into a funding agreement with the Department for Education to open the school. There may also be other questions about the school, enabling us to provide the best school possible for Lyde Green.
The Section 10 consultation for Lyde Green Community School ran from Thursday 14th August until Thursday 2nd October 2025. Below is the Consultation Report. Thank you to people who shared their feedback.
